The Career Counseling and Placement Cell of HKM GDC Bandipora in collaboration with 26 Assam Rifles (Wullar Battalion) Bandipora organized a comprehensive One Day Program on preparing students for job opportunities with a special focus on the Agnipath Scheme on 24th February 2024. The event, held at the college premises, aimed to provide valuable insights and guidance to young aspirants looking to explore career prospects. The key highlight of the program was an informative session by the army officers namely Major Abhinay Choudhary and Naib Subedar A.K. Sharma who shed light on the opportunities available through the Agnipath Scheme. Emphasising the recruitment of Agniveers, the officers delved into crucial details regarding the registration process, available posts, and the preparations necessary to qualify for the entrance exam. During the interaction, the officers motivated the attendees, highlighting that the army recognizes and respects talent. They stressed the importance of imbibing qualities such as etiquette, discipline, and teamwork, emphasizing that these attributes are integral not only for the agniveers but also for personal and professional growth. Encouraging the young participants, the officers conveyed the message that the army offers a platform for individuals to showcase their abilities and grow as responsible citizens Prof. Sajad Manzoor, Convener of the Counseling and Placement Cell, expressed gratitude on behalf of the institution for the collaboration and valuable insights shared by the officers.
